Motel Doofbangas has quitened down now ! Dropped Mum at the airport at midnight, Kel (Bombers fiance) rocked up on a 1:30 flight but I missed her as she then joined Bomber on Groote Eylandt in an afternoon flight! Yep there’s a lot of action going on at Motel Doofbangas.
So on Satdy there was a full day mini big day out called Groovn In The Moo. It had mostly Aussie acts plus Gomez from the UK. Zobe had tickets for us and we went down and rocked out (ahem) ! . . .

Mambo! (How's things)
Well I have been pretty busy, the new job's going well – and I have just started volunteering for a Refugee centre in Darwin… there are four people (Kate, David, Sami and me) in our group and it is our job to help a new refugee families settle well.
Our family arrived on Wednesday night, we think from the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo). Francine the Mum doesn't speak much English but the children speak some – which is great because my Swahili isn't too crash hot – or up til now – completely non existant!

The family is pretty large as per mug shot, single Mum and five kids ages 12, 10, 8, 4 and 2, Levis, Rose, Jean, Esther and Enock… thankfully the centre lend out vans for the weekend – which we definately needed!

Harsh and Errogenous AKA Noodle And Spam. Here is a picture of them cutting sick at Lee Point, our local beach. They have a frollic with the sand at sunset here most days.
Actually I've been working too much this week so didn't have very much top end action to geek on about. Plus Zobe understandably wouldn't let me put up here what I wanted to put up (poo jokes). At least, Monday is a public holiday here in NT, "Picnic Day" so we gotta have a picnic.
